My career in education began when I received my Bachelor’s in Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia. I received a Master’s in Public Policy Administration and Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Missouri – St. Louis. Upon the completion of my Ph.D. in 1992, I joined the faculty at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. I taught undergraduate and graduate political science courses. I decided I wanted to move to Florida, so I applied for a job at FAU in 1995. I am currently a faculty member in the School of Public Administration in the College for Design and Social Inquiry.
My training as a quantitative methodologist has allowed me to teach method courses, complete some very interesting research, and be involved with several dissertations. Information about my courses, research, and service is included in my web site.
