Study Abroad and Asian Studies

FAU students have many options for adding a study abroad experience to their Asian Studies certificate work. Courses taken abroad can be used to fulfill certificate requirements. Major options open to FAU students include summer programs led by FAU faculty or exchange partner schools where students study for a semester, academic year or summer school. Students can also go on third party programs and those run by other Florida SUS universities. The Office of International Program (OIP) helps students choose the program that best meets their needs, assists in all aspects of the application process, provides pre-departure orientations, and helps students get their transcripts validated after the program is over.
